CBSE has stated that the paper will now have more competency-based questions than before, such as case studies, data interpretation, source-based questions, real-life situation problems, and tasks based on logic and analysis. In the new pattern, 50% of the questions will check your ability to apply concepts. The remaining questions will be based on your understanding, reasoning, and analytical skills. MCQs will be around 20%, and 30% of the questions will be short and long answer types. This means you won't get marks just by memorizing definitions.
