Türkiye’s Economic Confidence Shows Monthly Growth

(MENAFN) Türkiye's economic optimism advanced by 1.3% to reach 99.5 in November on a month-to-month basis, according to official data released on Thursday.

All five sub-indices recorded gains during November, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced.

The "retail trade confidence index" saw a 0.9% increase compared to the previous month, while the "real sector confidence index" climbed 1.2% in November.

The "construction confidence index" also rose by 1.5% last month, "services confidence" increased by 1%, and "consumer confidence" went up 1.6% in November.

The "economic confidence index," a primary gauge of the overall economic climate, ranges from 0 to 200.

A score above 100 signifies optimism regarding the general economic outlook, whereas a reading below 100 indicates a more pessimistic viewpoint.
