Srinagar- Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather will administer the oath to two newly elected MLAs on Friday morning, sources said.

Officials said that the Speaker will administer the oath to the Peoples Democratic Party's Muntazir Mehdi and the Bharatiya Janata Party's Devyani Rana at 11 am in the Assembly complex.

Muntazir Mehdi was elected from the Budgam Assembly segment, while Devyani Rana won from Nagrota, a constituency earlier represented twice by her late father, Devinder Singh Rana.

With the filling of these two vacancies, the strength of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has risen to 90 members.
