Qatar Participates In 4Th International Forum On Women In The Third Millennium
Moscow: The State of Qatar has participated in the 4th International Forum on "Women in the Third Millennium," held in Moscow, Russia.
The Qatari delegation to the forum was headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family HE Sheikha Shaikha bint Jassim Al-Thani.
HE Sheikha Shaikha bint Jassim Al-Thani also participated in the sessions "The Women's Movement in a New Geopolitical Reality: The Structure of a Sustainable Future" and "Diplomacy of Opportunities: Women's Communities as a Driver of International Cooperation."
On the sidelines of the forum, the Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs met with Alvia Amirova, President of the International Women's Federation Alvia Amirova.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of women and children and exchanged expertise in this regard.
The Family Empowerment Department also participated in the "Made by Women" exhibition, showcasing handicrafts and souvenirs produced by productive families.
The aim was to highlight the products of Qatari productive families and market their products at international events and exhibitions.
