New Group Of Ex-Idps Returns To Villages In Azerbaijan's Khojavend (PHOTO)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19.​ Azerbaijan's “Great Return” program to its territories liberated from occupation is continuing under the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, Trend 's Karabakh bureau reports.

As part of the ongoing program, a new resettlement convoy has been dispatched to the Girmizi Bazar settlement and Sos village in the Khojavend district.

A total of 89 individuals from 21 families were relocated to Girmizi Bazar, while 80 individuals from 20 families were sent to Sos village through the Alikhanli village checkpoint in the Fuzuli district.

The returning residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive support extended by the state. They also paid tribute to the heroic Azerbaijani Army for liberating their lands, honoring the soldiers and officers who served with valor, and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the struggle for freedom.
