Doha Forum 2025 Set To Explore 'Justice In Action: Beyond Promises To Progress'
Doha, Qatar: Under the patronage of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the State of Qatar is set to host the 23rd Doha Forum from Dec. 6 to 7, 2025.
The forum will convene global leaders, policymakers, and experts from a variety of countries to discuss the foremost issues and current challenges, in terms of peace and security, as well as economic flexibility and ultimately technological transformations.
Convening this year under the motto: "Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress", the event is set to gather a wide spectrum of diverse voices and expertise to share viewpoints and explore avenues for building a fairer, balanced, and sustainable world, epitomizing Qatar's enduring commitment to supporting diplomacy and multilateral cooperation.
Executive Director of Doha Forum HE Mubarak Ajlan Al Kuwari, said the forum will convene at a time when the world is undergoing profound transformations. He stated that the forum is diligently undertaking its role as an agnostic and comprehensive platform for dialogue and diplomacy.
The forum broadly intends to promote mutual understanding and encourage solutions that serve the public interest through the combination of various perspectives, Al Kuwari highlighted.
General Manager of Doha Forum, Maha Al Kuwari, affirmed that this year's forum places justice at the core of the global dialogue, not merely as a subject for discussion, but as a shared responsibility that should be upheld. She further indicated that the objective is to ensure the laid-out deliberations morph into concrete collaboration and outcomes that are desperately needed by the world.
The 2025 program has mostly been prepared in collaboration with leading think tanks and global institutions, which spotlight priority issues on the current global agenda, such as conflict prevention, economic reform, energy security, artificial intelligence governance, and integrity of the media, thereby reinforcing the forum's role as a leading global platform for dialogue and joint solutions, Maha Al Kuwari noted.
She further stated that the keynote sessions, alongside the forum's global partnerships, will explore a whole raft of consequential international issues, including the US strategy in the Middle East and the new Syria following a year, assessment of progress, opportunities, and challenges.
These deliberations will focus on shock waves and safety nets: rethinking trade in an age of disruption, arms control, navigating disruptions to global health financing: strategic partnerships to reclaim country ownership, competing for the future: AI's role in economic transformation and global power balances, US-China relations: managing risks and opportunities in a shifting global order, and how shifts in global aid are reshaping the stability of fragile states, Maha Al Kuwari clarified.
The forum will also gather a distinguished panel of participants, from heads of state and government to ministers of foreign affairs, institutional leaders, and top-tier experts who shape global policy.
Overall, the event is anticipated to receive over 5,000 participants from 160-plus nations, thereby boosting its standing as one of the most flagship global platforms where diplomacy and work converge to reinforce collaboration, accountability, and joint global progress.
