Orsk Oil Refinery Targeted In New Drone Attack Media
At least one drone targeted PJSC Orsknefteorgsintez in Orsk, Orenburg region. Local authorities declared a drone threat, closing the airports in Orsk and Orenburg. Air raid sirens were also sounded in Novotroitsk, Orenburg region.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported shooting down one drone. At the time of the report, local authorities had not commented on the consequences of the drone strike.

PJSC Orsknefteorgsintez is one of Russia's largest oil refineries, located in Orsk, Orenburg region. It is part of the ForteInvest holding, owned by Mikhail Gutseriev's Safmar group.
The refinery was commissioned in 1935 and primarily processes oil from Western Siberian fields. Its processing capacity is about six million tonnes of oil per year. The enterprise produces a wide range of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products.
The Orsk oil refinery plays an important role in supplying oil products to the Urals and the Volga region, with part of its output exported.
