Russian Propaganda Spreading Fake Tiktok Videos About 'Encirclement Of Kupiansk'
"The enemy's propaganda has launched a series of fake TikTok videos about the alleged 'complete encirclement of Kupiansk' by Russian troops. In the clips, AI-generated 'Ukrainian soldiers' talk about a 'critical situation' in this sector of the front," the statement said.
The center said these videos are fabrications created with artificial intelligence. Such publications are part of Russia's ongoing information operations aimed at demoralizing Ukrainians. Russian fakes are becoming increasingly sophisticated, making it essential to verify sources and approach "sensational" social media videos critically.
