Over 32,000 Afghan Refugees Return Home Via Torkham In Seven Days
The Torkham border remained open for the seventh consecutive day on humanitarian grounds to facilitate the return of Afghan refugees.
According to border authorities, a total of 3,863 Afghan nationals, including men, women, and children, crossed back into Afghanistan on 6 November after completing their registration at the NADRA Immigration Centre.
Officials said that over the past six days, a cumulative 32,989 Afghan refugees have returned to their homeland from Pakistan, with a significant number of elderly individuals and young children among them.

Meanwhile, the Torkham border remains closed for regular cross-border movement and commercial activities, but the voluntary return of Afghan citizens is being facilitated without interruption on humanitarian grounds.
