Muhammad Rayhan Sudrajat

Muhammad Rayhan Sudrajat (b. 1990) is an ethnomusicologist, educator, and sound artist whose work bridges traditional Indonesian music, digital technologies, and intercultural collaboration. A graduate of Monash University with a major in Ethnomusicology and Musicology, he is a lecturer at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) while actively composing and performing music that fuses ritual traditions with electronic elements. He has collaborated globally, coached for brands like Shure and Yamaha, and spoken at Goethe-Institut, Institut Français, and TEDx. Rooted in fieldwork with Dayak communities in Central Kalimantan, Rayhan has led cultural initiatives, including Festival Kampung Buntoi and was selected as Indonesia's OneBeat Fellow in 2017. His work promotes cultural sustainability by reimagining traditional music as heritage and innovation.
