BAU, Pearson Explore Partnership To Advance Vocational Education

Salt, Nov. 5 (Petra) – AlBalqa Applied University (BAU) President Ahmed Ajlouni met with Ahmed Kabariya and Dina Kharoufeh, the Regional Development Managers of Pearson, an educational publishing and services, to discuss potential cooperation between the university and the company.
The meeting aimed to develop vocational and technical education programs and improve their outcomes, in line with BAU's efforts to strengthen its applied education framework.
Both sides discussed expanding academic and technical collaboration, including the development of programs and curricula based on Pearson's international standards, to bolster the BAU's position as a leader in applied and technical education.
Ajlouni underlined the importance of such cooperation in advancing vocational education in Jordan and enhancing the capabilities of faculty and students in line with global developments.
The participants noted the BAU's commitment to building strategic partnerships with leading international institutions to improve education quality and align students' skills with labor market needs.
Both parties agreed to continue coordination to establish a joint framework for future cooperation.
