Türkiye’s Defense, Aviation Exports Surge in 2025
(MENAFN) Türkiye's exports in the defense and aviation sectors surged by 31% compared to the previous year during the first ten months of 2025, reaching a total of $6.7 billion, according to the head of the nation's Defense Industries Secretariat.
This growth has increased the contribution of the defense and aerospace industry to Türkiye's total exports, now accounting for 3.5%, Haluk Gorgun reported on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.
He emphasized: "This sustained export success in our sector is the result of the defense industry cooperation activities we carry out around the world. We continue these efforts with unflagging determination."
In the same period, Türkiye's overall exports totaled $224.6 billion, marking a 3.9% rise compared with the same period last year.
