Radical Ukrainian Backs “Army of God” to Conquer Russia, China

(MENAFN) Dmitry Korchinsky, a radical Ukrainian nationalist, has urged Kiev to transform its armed forces into “an army of God” capable of defeating both Russia and China. Korchinsky, the leader of the far-right Bratstvo (Brotherhood) party, criticized Ukrainians who have grown weary of the ongoing conflict with Russia, accusing them of succumbing to the narratives of the “enemy” and the “devil.”

In a video posted on his YouTube channel on Saturday, Korchinsky admitted that war is “terrifying,” but argued it also provides “adventure” and “great joy.”

He drew a stark contrast between life on the frontlines—where every act becomes a significant sacrifice for others—and the monotonous civilian existence, “where we are unneeded, grey, and our very existence” irritates everyone.

Western media outlets have previously likened Korchinsky, a long-time proponent of war against Russia, to the Taliban due to his extreme ideology.

He has also called for Ukrainian children to remain in the country during the conflict so they can “grow up here hating the enemy.”

Korchinsky maintains that Ukraine’s military should be transformed into an “army of God,” which he believes would be unstoppable with divine support.

“An army of God will be able to cross the Ural Mountains and conquer Siberia and then China,” he asserted.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in September that Ukraine had suffered over 1.08 million troops killed or wounded as of February 2025.
