How To Enroll Children In Al Jiwan Kindergarten For Early Intervention

Doha, Qatar: The Al Jiwan Kindergarten for Early Intervention was launched in September 2025 for children aged 3 to 6 years with disabilities. The initiative, a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Hamad Medical Corporation, equips kids with essential skills to ensure their smooth transition into school.

In a social media post, Hamad Medical Corporation shared the details of the kids eligible to be enrolled into the early intervention programme and on how to enroll them in it.

HMC stated that the Al Jiwan Kindergarten for Early Intervention is a window of hope for children with disabilities aged 3 to 6 years to help them grow and integrate into society.

Students who can be enrolled:

- Children with intellectual disabilities accompanied by hearing impairment

- Children with physical disabilities

- Children with Down syndrome accompanied by hearing impairment

- Children with developmental delay accompanied by hearing impairment

- Children who have undergone cochlear implant surgery

Steps to enroll:

- The child's health condition is evaluated by specialists at Hamad Medical Corporation

- Specialists at the HMC determine the appropriate rehabilitation and educational program for each child

- Admission to the kindergarten is only through Hamad Medical Corporation
