(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 27 (KUNA) --- The preparatory committee of the GCC Armed Forces' Deputy Chiefs of Staff for Operations and Plans convened its meeting in Kuwait, chaired by Brigadier General Raed Al-Sukran, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans at the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Kuwaiti General Staff Headquarters announced that the meeting - which sessions will continue until Wednesday - includes participation from the GCC General Secretariat and the Unified Military Command.
Al-Sukran welcomed the Deputy Chiefs of Staff for Operations and Training to their "second home," Kuwait, emphasizing the importance of this meeting as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance military cooperation and coordination among GCC member states.
He highlighted that the gathering reflects the continued commitment of GCC nations to strengthening joint training initiatives and operational capabilities, thereby contributing to the security and stability of the region and enhancing collective defense readiness. (end)
