Judiciary To Take 'Deterrent' Measures In Olive Oil Adulteration Cases-Circular

Amman, October 22 (Petra) - Chief Public Prosecutor Dr. Nayef Samarat on Wednesday instructed Jordan's public prosecutors to take all deterrent legal measures in olive oil adulteration cases.
In a circular, fraudsters under the Kingdom's Food and Drug Law and the Penal Code will be charged, in a bid to curb this phenomenon due to the increasing number of adulteration cases during this season.
