His first book, "Beyond the Moulin Rouge: The Life & Legacy of La Goulue" (2022) was published by the University of Virginia Press. He is currently working on the four-volume "Comedy, Humour, and Laughter: A Documentary History, 1800-1920" with Prof. Matthew Kaiser (UC Merced).
