Seda Saluk

Seda Saluk is an Assistant Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Michigan. She is a medical anthropologist specializing in gender, race, and reproduction, with a particular focus on Turkey and the broader Muslim Middle East. Her first book explores the rise of reproductive surveillance under Erdogan's regime. She has published peer-reviewed articles in the International Journal of Middle East Studies, Journal of Middle East Women's Studies, Women's Studies International Forum, Medical Anthropology Quarterly, and Collaborative Anthropologies, among others.
