IREDA Reports 41% Yoy Net Profit Growth, Loan Disbursements Up 81% In Q2 FY26
The company posted a 41 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit and an 81 per cent increase in loan disbursements, reflecting its expanding role in financing India's renewable energy transition.
Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, commended IREDA's performance, noting that the agency is playing a pivotal role in advancing sustainable growth and self-reliance in the clean energy sector, supporting India's journey toward a greener future.
According to IREDA's audited results for Q2 FY26, loan sanctions rose 145 per cent to Rs 21,408 crore, while loan disbursements increased to Rs 8,062 crore from Rs 4,462 crore in the same quarter last year.
The loan book expanded by 31 per cent to Rs 84,477 crore, and the net worth grew by 38 per cent to Rs 12,920 crore.
Revenue from operations rose by 26 per cent to Rs 2,057 crore, with profit after tax reaching Rs 549 crore, up from Rs 388 crore a year earlier.
IREDA Chairman and Managing Director, Pradip Kumar Das, said the strong results underscore the company's focus on operational excellence and stakeholder trust.
