
War Update: 108 Clashes On Front Lines Since Midnight, Fighting Ongoing In Four Sectors
Russian forces carried out artillery strikes on Utskove, Brusky, and Buniakyne in the Sumy region, Khrinivka, Yasna Poliana, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, and Huta Studenetska in the Chernihiv region.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, four combat clashes were recorded. The enemy conducted one airstrike, dropped two guided bombs, and carried out 96 shelling attacks, including four from MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, 11 clashes took place near Zapadne, Kutkivka, and toward Bolohivka, Dvorichanske, and Kolodiazne. One enemy attack is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, one clash continues. The enemy attempted advances five times near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Stepova Novoselivka.
In the Lyman sector, eight clashes were recorded. The enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Kopanky, Karpivka, Drobysheve, Torske, and toward Lyman.
In the Sloviansk sector, four attacks took place near Yampil, Serebrianka, and Dronivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 enemy attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.
Read also: Russian army loses another 1,060 soldiers in war against Ukraine in one dayIn the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops attempted 29 advances near Shakhove, Sukhetske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Pokrovsk. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 24 attacks, with fighting continuing.
In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Novohryhorivka, and toward Orestopil. Five attacks are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk, Huliaipole, and Dnipro River sectors, no enemy advances were reported.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four enemy assaults near Stepove and toward Prymorske.
No significant changes were reported on other fronts.
As many as 234 clashes were recorded along the front on October 10.
