Second International Symposium “Inventing the Future” wraps up in Moscow
(MENAFN) The 2nd International Symposium “Inventing the Future” concluded at the National Centre RUSSIA, bringing together experts from 86 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Participants included scientists, architects, artists, and professionals from a variety of creative fields.
Natalia Virtuozova, General Director of the National Centre RUSSIA, highlighted the event’s scope: “This year, we gathered representatives of many creative professions. Experts discussed demographic issues, urbanization, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and the shared future of Russia and the Global South in mega-projects.”
The symposium featured 50 events organized around three main themes: Society, Technology, and Global Cooperation. Notably, an Open Lecture Hall allowed the public to attend discussions and actively participate.
Highlights included the second hackathon of the First Neurocontent Cup, where winners were announced, and the All-Russian Literary Prize for science fiction, organized jointly with the Writers’ Union. Virtuozova noted, “Not only is science fiction becoming more interesting, but appreciation for printed books is also increasing. We are now collecting essays for the Open Dialogue and eagerly await bold ideas from around the world.”
A landmark development was the integration of the symposium into the global Open Dialogue initiative, announced by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maxim Oreshkin. He emphasized that the initiative provides a platform for like-minded individuals to collaborate and share ideas about the future. “The authors of these initiatives inspire one another, gaining supporters worldwide, and some of the ideas proposed are already being implemented in practice,” Oreshkin said.
The symposium demonstrated a growing international focus on collaborative innovation and the intersection of science, art, and global problem-solving.
