Govt Orders Transfer Of 7 IPS, 14 JKPS Officers In J & K

Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday ordered a significant reshuffle in the police administration, transferring and posting seven IPS and 14 JKPS officers in the interest of administration.

According to an order under number 484-Home of 2025, issued by the Home Department, Abdul Ghani Mir, IPS (AGMUT:1994), awaiting orders of posting, has been appointed as Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence, and SDRF, J&K, relieving Alok Kumar, IPS of the additional charge.

Among other key transfers, Mohammad. Yaseen Kichloo, IPS (AGMUT:2013), has been transferred from SSP CICE Jammu and posted as Principal STC Talwara, while Shobhit Saxena, IPS (AGMUT:2015), SSP Kathua, has been appointed as SSP Security, J&K.

Tanushree, IPS (AGMUT:2017), serving as SP SIA HQ, has been transferred as SSP Pulwama, replacing P.D. Nitya, IPS, whereas Sahil Sarangal, IPS (AGMUT:2017), has been posted as SSP Handwara, succeeding Mushtaq Ahmad.

Mohita Sharma, IPS (AGMUT:2017), AIG Provisions, has been appointed as SSP Kathua, replacing Saxena and Anayat Ali Choudhary, IPS (AGMUT:2017), has been transferred as SSP Kulgam, succeeding Sahil Sarangal.
