These events included cultural festivals, art exhibitions, honorary awards, book fairs, artistic and theatrical performances, in addition to several workshops, discussion panels, and training courses.
The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) selected Kuwait as the Arab Capital of Culture in recognition of its pioneering position in the cultural field and in affirmation of its commitment to developing cultural content at the regional, Arab, and international levels, reflecting its national identity and cultural heritage.
