Ukraine Technically Ready To Start EU Accession Talks - Head Of Ukraine2eu

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was stated in an interview with Ukrinfor by Mante Makauskaite, head of the Ukraine2EU project.

“The government is determined to develop a National Program for the implementation of EU legislation by the end of the year. This is a very ambitious plan,” Macaulay said.

She added that her project, which helps Ukraine in the process of joining the EU, supports the development of the National Program, and expressed hope that as soon as a political window of opportunity appears, Ukraine will definitely be ready to“go beyond the first cluster.”

“We have confirmation from the European Commission and 26 member states that Ukraine is technically ready to start negotiations. I see no reason to doubt this,” the project manager noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, in early 2025, the European Union officially launched the Ukraine2EU program to prepare Ukraine for EU accession and membership.
