Amiri Diwan Min. Visits Civil Aviation Chief

KUWAIT, Oct 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah visited Monday Chief of Civil Aviation Authority Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Al-Sabah at the Authority's headquarters.
He relayed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Authority employees and his praise for their efforts.
Minister Al-Sabah congratulated the Authority's Chief on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) honoring of Kuwait in recognition of the progress made in establishing an effective security monitoring system during the 42nd General Assembly meetings held in Montreal, Canada.
He expressed pride in such an achievement and commended efforts made in implementation of directives of His Highness the Amir which led up to this recognition.
The Amiri Diwan Minister also hailed efforts of the Authority in developing the aviation sector to serve the state's strategic development goals in fields of transportation and infrastructure to ensure safety of civil aviation and its sustainability.
He affirmed that the Authority is the state's front, its gateway to the world and an important propeller of economy, tourism and investments, and wished them further success in their future endeavors. (end)
