Gaza Genocide: Israeli Relentless Attacks Kill Over 67,150 Civilians

(MENAFN) At least 67,160 Palestinians have lost their lives in what the Gaza Health Ministry describes as Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, according to a statement released Monday.

The ministry reported that in the past 24 hours alone, 21 bodies were delivered to hospitals and 96 people were injured, pushing the total number of wounded to 169,679 amid the ongoing Israeli offensive.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” the statement warned.

Additionally, the ministry highlighted that two Palestinians were killed and 19 injured by Israeli army fire while attempting to access humanitarian aid over the same period. This brings the total Palestinians killed during aid attempts to 2,610, with over 19,143 wounded since May 27.

The Israeli military resumed its attacks on Gaza on March 18, resulting in 13,568 deaths and 57,638 injuries. This renewed assault broke a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal established in January.

In a significant legal development last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice related to its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
