Member of the ICMAT, AXA-ICMAT Chair in Adversarial Risk Analysis and Member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences,

David was AXA-ICMAT Chair in Adversarial Risk Analysis at ICMAT-CSIC. He is member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences, Research Professor of Risk Analysis and Data Science at ICMAT-CSIC and Professor of OR and Stats at UCM (on leave). He has held research or teaching positions at Manchester, Leeds, Duke, Purdue, Paris-Dauphine, Aalto, CNR-IMATI, IIASA, SAMSI, UPM, URJC and cuurent collaborates with the Adapative Systems Group of the Czech Academy and USST. Among others, he has received de ISBA DeGroot Prize for his monograph on Adversarial Risk Analysis. He was scientific advisor of Aisoy Robotics.
David has written more than 170 refereed papers and 20 monographs about his topics of interest which include Bayesian inference, data science, decision analysis, machine learning, and risk analysis, and their applications to security, defense, cybersecurity and social robotics.
