Dr Nicholas Beuret is a lecturer at the University of Essex researching the politics and political economy of climate change and the green transition. He previously worked in the environmental NGO sector as a researcher and campaigner on climate change and agriculture. He has been engaged with questions of justice, labour rights, ecological politics and political economy for thirty years.
His book 'Or Something Worse: Why we need to disrupt the climate transition' is currently out with Verso Books.
