My fields of research are general relativity theory and history of mathematics. I'm a former lecturer at Monash, and I've published five books of popular science/history: "Einstein's Heroes: Imagining the World through the Language of Mathematics", "Seduced by Logic: Emilie du Châtelet, Mary Somerville and the Newtonian Revolution", "Young Einstein and the Story of E=mc^2, " "Thomas Harriot: A Life in Science", and most recently, "Vector: A surprising story of space, time, and mathematical transformation."
