Governor: Voluntary Initiatives Represents Positive Model To Boost Environment Awareness

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- Al-Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah affirmed Saturday that voluntary initiatives, particularly those related to the environment, represent a positive model for cooperation between state institutions, youth, and volunteers, which in turn enhances environmental awareness among various segments of society.
The remarks by the Governor came while sponsoring and attending an event in cooperation with KAFO platform in front of the Farwaniya Popular Cafe, marking the World Cleanup Day.
Sheikh Athbi expressed his joy to participate in such events, which foster a spirit of cooperation and community involvement.
The Governor also thanked KAFO Director Dr. Fatima Al-Mousawi for this initiative, as well as officials from various departments and volunteers, emphasizing the need to promote environmental values to create a healthy and clean environment that reflects on the beautiful depiction of the State of Kuwait.
