Charlie Kirk Assassination: Elon Musk Urges Support For Turning Point USA 'For Sanity, For Civilization'

(MENAFN- Live Mint) Elon Musk has called on his followers to rally behind conservative youth group Turning Point USA following the killing of its co-founder, Charlie Kirk.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Musk wrote :“Support Turning Point for Charlie, for sanity, for the future of civilization.”

The tech billionaire's message comes days after Kirk , 31, was fatally shot while speaking at a campus event in Utah . The attack has been widely condemned across the political spectrum, with President Donald Trump describing it as a“heinous assassination.”

Musk has been vocal in his reaction to the incident, accusing the political left of celebrating Kirk's death.

Authorities have arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson , a Utah trade school student, in connection with the shooting. He remains in custody as federal investigators continue to search for a motive.

“The Left is the party of murder”

“And then you see how much violence there is on the left,” Musk said .“With our friend Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood this week. And people on the left celebrating it openly. The left is the party of murder and celebrating murder. I mean, let that sink in for a minute. That's who we're dealing with here.”

He followed with a stark warning :“The left is the party of murder. If they won't leave us in peace, then our choice is to fight or die.”

Musk calls out Microsoft over employee posts

Musk also turned his attention to Microsoft after claims surfaced that some of its Blizzard employees mocked Kirk's death. Quoting a thread that included screenshots and names of alleged developers, Musk asked publicly :“What's going on here, @satyanadella?”

“These are Microsoft employees,” Musk added in a separate post.

In response, Microsoft issued a statement on X :“We're aware of the views expressed by a small subset of our employees regarding recent events. We take matters like this very seriously and we are currently reviewing each individual situation. Comments celebrating violence against anyone are unacceptable and do not align with our values.”

Former Tesla employee linked to mocking posts

Musk also responded to viral claims that a former Tesla data analyst, Beth Ayers, had celebrated Kirk's death online. One post alleged Ayers called Kirk“Hitler” and wrote“Rest in piss.”

Musk clarified that Ayers was not currently a Tesla employee:“This person is not currently employed by Tesla.”

Condemning“Celebrations of cold-blooded murder”

Since Kirk's death, Musk has repeatedly condemned online reactions praising the violence. He described those celebrating the attack as“evil” and“celebrating cold-blooded murder.”

He also engaged with Will Chamberlain of the Article 3 Project, who flagged a post calling for the deaths of both Kirk and his wife. Musk's response:“Either we fight back or they will kill us.”

Shortly after the incident, Musk expressed shock , writing:“The shot looked real bad, but I sure hope Charlie makes it somehow.”

He also reacted to another post that claimed the danger of violence was greater from the left than the right. Musk's reply echoed his broader message :“If they won't leave us in peace, then our choice is fight or die.”
