General Staff Confirms Strike On Kirishi Oil Refinery In Leningrad Region
“On the night of September 14, 2025, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces, struck the Kirishi oil refinery in the Leningrad region,” the statement reads. Explosions and a fire were recorded at the facility.
The results of the strike are being clarified.
As the General Staff emphasized, the Kirishi refinery is one of the largest in Russia. It produces about 80 types of petroleum products, including motor gasoline, diesel fuel, and aviation fuel, and is used to supply the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
