I am a board-certified veterinary parasitologist that investigates parasitic diseases in wild and domestic animals. My BS is wildlife biology and I am a Certified Wildlife Biologist as well. I conduct both field and lab research to understand disease transmission dynamics and population impacts of the pathogens. Furthermore, several of the parasites I study are zoonotic and can cause human disease.
