2010 -- The Kuwaiti jet ski champion, Yusuf Alrubaiaan, wins the silver medal in the Formula-2 World Jet Ski Championship held in Italy.
2012 -- Kuwait pledges to earmark USD three million to combat malaria worldwide. The sum will be granted to the International Partnership to End Malaria.
