UN Security Council Convenes Emergency Session On Israeli Aggression Against Qatar

New York, Sept. 11 (Petra) -- The United Nations Security Council is set to hold an emergency session this afternoon to discuss the recent Israeli attack on Qatar's capital.
The meeting, initiated by Algeria with backing from Somalia and Pakistan, and supported by France and the United Kingdom, was initially slated for Wednesday but was postponed to accommodate the Qatari Prime Minister's participation.
The session will open with a briefing by Mohamed Khaled Khiari, the UN Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific.
