Dr Mehdi Seyedmahmoudian is Professor of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He holds B.Sc. degree, M. Eng. Degree and PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His research interests includes renewable Energy systems, Artificial Intelligence and application of emerging technologies, like VR-AR, in Complex Engineering problems. Prior to his current position, he was a Course Coordinator in the School of Engineering, Deakin University, Australia. He also served as Deputy Director of CADET_VR lab at Deakin university. He strongly believes in industry engagement research initiatives and has stablished several research partnerships with external industries during his academic career. Mehdi has been chief/partner investigator of more than $15.7M funding application submission, including $6.4 successfully funded projects. He is amoung the top 2% researchers in the world based on his research performance within in EE and energy disciplines in 2020. He has been author/co-author of ~150 research articles, including 120 highly-ranked journal papers, cited more than 2500 times in the prestigious databases including Nature Publication Journals.
