Arab League Strongly Condemns Israeli Occupation Attack On Doha

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- The Arab League strongly condemned on Tuesday the attack carried out by the Israeli occupation on civilian residential buildings in the Qatari capital, Doha.
In a press statement, the Arab League said that its Secretary-General, Ahmad AboulGheit, emphasized that this targeting constitutes a blatant violation and is completely unacceptable regarding the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, which has, since the beginning of the war on Gaza, coordinated with both Egypt and the US to mediate for a ceasefire.
The statement continued that Qatar has made well-recognized and sincere efforts in this regard to put an end to the ongoing campaign of extermination that the occupation continues to wage in the Gaza Strip.
It confirmed that the Arab League stands in solidarity with the State of Qatar against this blatant assault on its sovereignty in any measures it takes to protect its sovereignty and safeguard its security.
The statement stressed that Israeli occupation behavior has now gone beyond all established international norms and every principle of international law, placing a clear responsibility on the international community to deal with a state that mocks the law and disregards the consequences of its shameful actions.
