Weyerhaeuser Joins The International Sustainable Forestry Coalition

Global private sector forestry association broadens footprint to 31 million hectares (76 million acres) in 39 countries.

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, UNITED KINGDOM, September 4, 2025 /EINPresswire / -- The International Sustainable Forestry Coalition (ISFC) has welcomed Weyerhaeuser , one of the world's largest private owners of timberlands and one of the largest manufacturers of wood products in North America, as its 23rd member company.

Weyerhaeuser owns or manages approximately 10.4 million acres of timberlands in the United States, as well as additional public timberlands managed under long-term licenses in Canada. The company has been an industry leader in sustainable forestry for more than a century and manages 100 percent of its timberlands on a fully sustainable basis in compliance with internationally recognized sustainable forestry standards.
