My research is inspired by the growing influence of technology on individuals lives and the blurring of boundaries between work and non-working life. I developed a new measure with associated interventions to help both individuals and organisations to be able to identify and ameliorate where problems arise. Lately my research has developed into looking at the 'switched on culture' and the impact that this may have across the life span of workers and how boundaries may continue to blur and integrate for both employers and employees. I also develop psychometric tests including employability and situational judgement tests for workplace issues. I hope to continue to research the impact of technology on different age groups and to combine this with the development of a competency framework for the resilient e-worker.
