(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Mumbai- Prime Video on Monday released the trailer of Songs of Paradise, a heartwarming musical drama directed and written by Kashmiri filmmaker Danish Renzu. Inspired by the life and journey of Padma Shri awardee Raj Begum, the film celebrates Kashmir's first female playback singer whose voice became the soul of a generation.

Presented by Excel Entertainment and produced by Apple Tree Pictures Production and Renzu Films Production, the film features a stellar ensemble cast including Saba Azad, Soni Razdan, Zain Khan Durrani, Sheeba Chaddha, Taaruk Raina, and Lillete Dubey. The film will stream exclusively on Prime Video across India and over 200 countries and territories worldwide starting August 29.

The trailer showcases Noor Begum's journey-portrayed by Saba Azad and Soni Razdan across two eras-capturing her defiance of social norms and pursuit of self-expression through music. Abhay Sopori's compositions and vocals by Masrat Un Nissa bring alive Kashmir's rich musical tradition, serving as the film's heartbeat.
