Al-Ahli Crowned Saudi Super Cup Champions Over Al-Nassr

Hong Kong: Al-Ahli won the Saudi Super Cup in football after defeating Al-Nassr 5-3 on penalties, following a 2-2 draw in regular time in the match held in Hong Kong on Saturday.

Al-Nassr's goals were scored by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in the 41st minute from a penalty kick, and Croatian Marcelo Brozovic in the 82nd minute, while Al-Ahli's goals were scored by Franck Kessie in the 45+6th minute and Brazilian Roger Ibanez da Silva in the 89th minute, before the match went to penalties, which Al-Ahli won 5-3.

Al-Nassr reached the final after defeating Al-Ittihad 2-1, while Al-Ahli qualified by beating Al-Qadsiah 5-1.

This edition is the 12th Saudi Super Cup, with five clubs having won previous editions: Al-Hilal (5 titles), Al-Nassr (2), and one title each for Al-Fateh, Al-Shabab, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad.
