Aaron Thierry
Aaron is a graduate student researching the role of scientists in the climate movement at Cardiff University School of Social Sciences.
He has a previous PhD in Ecology from The University of Sheffield, where he worked on modelling food web topology and the risk of cascading extinctions. This was followed by a post-doc at the University of Edinburgh on the CYCLOPS project looking at the effect of boreal forest wildfires on permafrost carbon cycle feedbacks.
Before embarking on his current research project he worked as a youth campaigns coach for a leading environmental NGO.
