Jeff Bachman
Jeff Bachman is an Associate Professor at American University's School of International Service. He is author of The Politics of Genocide: From the Genocide Convention to the Responsibility to Protect (2022) and The United States and Genocide: (Re)Defining the Relationship (2017); editor of Genocide Studies: Pathways Ahead (2024) and Cultural Genocide: Law, Politics, and Global Manifestations (2019); and co-editor of A Modern History of Forgotten Genocide and Mass Atrocities (2024). His research has also been published in Third World Quarterly, Genocide Studies and Prevention, Journal of Genocide Research, Critical Studies on Security, and International Studies Perspectives, among others.
