Over QR6.7M Provided By Jassim And Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation In First Half Of 2025
Doha: The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation has revealed the internal monthly aid it provided during the first half of 2025. This comes as part of the Foundation's commitment to social responsibility and its ongoing support for various vulnerable groups within the community.
The aid covered health and education sectors, in addition to financial and in-kind support for a number of individuals and families in need. The total value of the aid reached QR6,799,446.
The Foundation relies on its own resources to provide these monthly donations throughout the year, due to its strong focus on initiatives and projects within Qatar. These occupy a prominent place on the Foundation's priority map, in line with its vision of“Health and Education for a Better Life.”
Health and education
The fields of health and education reflect the Foundation's core vision and priorities. In the first half of this year alone, aid provided in these two areas amounted to QR3,389,284. This included the payment of school fees for students across various educational levels in private and community schools, as well as university students. The goal is to meet essential needs that allow these students to continue their academic journey without financial barriers.
On the health front, the Foundation extended aid to numerous patients in need whose health conditions impose financial burdens that exceed their capabilities. This is carried out under the agreement between the Foundation and Hamad Medical Corporation.
Financial and In-kind assistance
The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation recognises the critical role of financial and in-kind assistance in supporting many families' aspirations for a stable life. The Foundation implements a flexible and effective mechanism aimed at assisting the largest possible segment of these families, offering diversified support in both financial and in-kind forms on a monthly basis, depending on the needs of each individual or family. The value of such assistance in the first half of this year reached QR3,410,165.
Social solidarity
The charitable initiatives and projects undertaken by the Foundation are characterized by sustainability, as they are self-funded. The Foundation is committed to the principle of social solidarity, continuously providing social support to underprivileged and low-income families, thereby helping to alleviate the financial burdens they face.
