Treena Orchard
An anthropologist with cultural and medical expertise, I conduct ethnographic research with women and others in sex work, people with HIV/AIDS, and Indigenous communities. My special interests include sexuality, gender, dating, relationships, and the politics of health. I'm also invested in public scholarship and creative projects, including auto-ethnographic writing. I have a contract with University of Toronto Press's new trade imprint, AEVO, to write a memoir about swipe culture and other aspects of my dating app experiences. Exciting things ahead!
