Senate Committee, Polish Ambassador Discuss Boosting Cooperation

Amman, July 30 (Petra) – The Jordanian-Polish Friendship Committee in the Senate, chaired by Senator Yahya Kasbi, met on Wednesday with Polish Ambassador Lucjan Karpinski to discuss ways to enhance relations between the two countries.
Kasbi highlighted available opportunities to expand cooperation in various sectors, particularly economic, industrial, and parliamentary fields. He called for strengthening diplomatic ties to better serve the interests of both nations.
He also underscored the alignment between Jordanian and Polish positions on a number of international issues, most notably Poland's support for the two-state solution to the Palestinian issue, an approach consistently championed by His Majesty King Abdullah II in international forums to achieve just and comprehensive peace, regional stability, and conflict resolution.
Karpinski affirmed Poland's interest in deepening cooperation with Jordan, commending the Kingdom's role in promoting peace and stability in the region through His Majesty's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
