Over 75% Students Pass As Mardan Board Announces Matric Results 2025

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mardan has announced the results of the Matric Annual Examinations 2025. A total of 76,900 male and female students appeared in the exams, out of which 57,880 were declared successful. Thus, the overall pass percentage stood at 75.27%.

A special ceremony was held in the Mardan Board Auditorium on the occasion of the results announcement, in which Commissioner Mardan Nisar Ahmad and Board Chairman Professor Jehanzeb distributed prizes among the position holders.

Among the position holders, Muhammad Athar Khan of The Quaid-e-Azam Public School, Mardan, secured 1177 marks and clinched the overall first position. The second position was shared by three students who each secured 1172 marks: Sidra Ahmad from The Quaid-e-Azam Girls School Swabi, Rooza Siraj from Ghazali School Mardan, and Sania Falak.

The third position, with 1170 marks, was jointly secured by three students as well: Aroosa Anwar from The Quaid-e-Azam Girls Public School Swabi, Khakan Ahmad from Iqra School Chargali, and Aqsaa Rehman from Ghazali School for Girls Mardan.

Speaking on the occasion, Board Chairman Professor Jehanzeb said that merely scoring high marks is not enough; true success lies in the consistent pursuit of hard work. He urged the students to make education their mission and keep moving forward.

According to the report, 19,020 students failed in the examinations.
