
Polish Tourist Injured In Kandahar Traffic Accident
KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A Polish tourist was injured in a traffic accident in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Monday.
Police spokesman Mullah Asadullah Jamshed told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident occurred at the Arghistan bridge area while the tourist was traveling from Kandahar City to Spin Boldak district on Monday morning.
He said the tourist, a Polish national, was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a truck and sustained minor injuries.
According to Jamshed, the injured tourist was evacuated to Mirwais Hospital for medical treatment.
