Seminar Discusses Jordan's Potential As Regional Technology Hub

Amman, July 26 (Petra) – The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, through the JordanSource programme, organised a virtual seminar titled "From the UK to Jordan: Why Tech Leaders Can't Ignore This Vital Middle Eastern Hub."
According to a statement the Ministry issued on Saturday, the event was held in collaboration with London Tech Week, with support from the Jordanian Embassy in London and the British Embassy in Amman.
The seminar discussed Jordan's rapid digital transformation, the nation's innovation ecosystem and its increasing global influence, the future of digital entrepreneurship in Jordan and the growing investments by international companies in Jordanian talent.
Participants discussed Jordan's ability to lead innovation and expand internationally. The seminar brought together a diverse group of professionals, experts and investors from Jordan and the United Kingdom.
This marked the first collaboration of its kind between the Ministry and London Tech Week, helping to reinforce Jordan's reputation as an ambitious digital partner and a regional hub for innovation and digital transformation.
The event served as an interactive platform to foster professional connections between participants from both countries and explore new avenues for cooperation in the technology sector.
It highlighted Jordan's competitive advantages, including a skilled and youthful workforce, low operating costs and advanced digital infrastructure, alongside ongoing government support for the sector's growth.
