According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the intelligence-based operation was conducted between July 16 and 20, 2025, involving the Pakistan Army, Police, Levies, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and local administration in a tightly coordinated effort.
The operation was launched after credible intelligence revealed the presence of Khawarij operating in the region under Indian intelligence backing. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the suspected areas and targeted the terrorists' hideouts in a series of carefully executed raids.
